All data is transmitted over HTTPS with TLS encryption. Your expense data and receipts are never sent over unencrypted connections.
Only you and the co-parents and viewers you invite can see your family data. Every request is verified against your authenticated session.
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not share it with advertisers. Your expense records are visible only to the people you invite.
Each family has its own isolated workspace. Other families cannot access your data, and your data never appears in anyone else's account.
Receipts and any files you upload are stored securely. They are accessible only to the parents and viewers in your family workspace. When you generate a report, the included receipts are available to anyone who receives the exported file.
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment provider. Your card information is handled entirely by Stripe — CoParent Expenses never sees or stores your full card details.
Every change to an expense — creation, editing, approval, dispute, or deletion — is logged with a timestamp and the name of the parent who made the change. This audit trail is visible to both parents and is included in exported reports.
Keep your login credentials secure and do not share them with anyone. Only invite people you trust to your family workspace. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
