Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how CoParent Expenses collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our co-parenting expense tracking application.

Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and any profile details you provide. When you use the app, we store the expense data you enter — including amounts, dates, categories, descriptions, receipts, comments, and approval records — so that you and your co-parent can share and manage shared child expenses together.

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to:

  • Provide the co-parenting expense tracking service to you and your co-parent
  • Send notifications about expenses, approvals, and reimbursements
  • Generate expense reports and summaries you request
  • Process subscription payments through our payment provider (Stripe)
  • Respond to your support requests and feedback

Data Access and Sharing

Your expense data is shared only with the co-parents and viewers you invite to your family workspace. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not share your data with advertisers. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, which receives only the information needed to process your subscription.

Data Security

Your data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Access to your data is restricted to authenticated users within your family workspace. We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data remains accessible in a read-only state. If you request account deletion, we will remove your data in accordance with our deletion process.

Your Rights

You can access, export, or request deletion of your data at any time. You can update your profile information from within the app. If you have questions about your data, please contact us.

Children's Privacy

CoParent Expenses is designed for adults managing expenses related to their children. The app does not collect personal information directly from children. Data about children (such as names) is entered by their parents for the purpose of tracking shared expenses.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy on this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
